Other news: Not much. Haven't gotten that much game time because I've been taking care of my girlfriend who's pretty much fresh out of surgery. The money is still trickling in and I've delved a little bit into new areas of markets. I am also trying to get a hold of a construction corp to see if we can get a deal running where I sell their products. Would be pretty awesome, in my opinion. A fairly constant flow of modules and ships at a discount price.

Annoyance of the month: Not being able to log in that much and the really big price drop for a certain item.

Wheels turning slowly

Things are moving so slowly right now.. Don't know if its because I've gotten more money than I've ever had so the fluctuation of money between buy and sell orders are smaller and less noticable or because it really is going slower right now.

I am thinking of maybe picking up my belonging and moving to another area to trade and see if it flows better over there. Or maybe doing the trade runs of buying things in Jita, transport them to my current trade-station and sell them. Seems like Jita really is cheaper in some aspects. Lovely.

Other news:
Stopped training on my newest PvP character so that Cap could train Minmatar Industrial to rank IV , Jury rigging to III and Austronautic rigging to III so that he could get into a Mammoth with Cargohold optimization and Expanded Cargohold II making the ship carry a whooping 27,1k m3. Not too shabby. (unless you compare it to Iteron MK V that comes up to 38k m3, but that's a different matter, Iteron MK IV only comes to 20k m3. Guess Mammoth won that round)

Annoyances(sp?) of the month:
People seriously undercutting the market. You put up a reasonable price for a T2 product, then someone undercut you by 1k, and you go like "aaaah, annoying, but it's ok" and follow them down. Next time you log in, someone undercut you with 100 000. The question I ask myself is: Why?! The market is perfectly fine where all the other prices are, the stocks are moving at a good rate etc. etc.
Perhaps it's a bit of a failed market manipulation? Which takes me to a completely different matter. Found me a pretty good income in buying one specific item in a medium quantity (high quantity for a newb like me) and then selling it for 4 times that price. Best part is, it moves real quick. Put 1k on the market the day before yesterday, and sometime today, it was all gone. I love it!

Summer break is over

So.. I've been away most of the summer and only sporadically updated the buy and sell orders and yet somehow, somehow, I've managed to come up in 120mil in buy and sell. 86 in buy, 33 in sell and I've got a couple of BPOs I'm trying to sell to someone.

A Rupture BPO (worth about 65mil if you grab it from the NPCs)
Large Capacitor Control Circuit BPO (No idea of the value)
1mn Afterburner I (No idea about this one either and probably not worth that much..)


I was thinking about maybe doing a round up about the month that has gone by as well, in terms of increase in ISK, new lessons learned, etc etc. Could be fun.

A Clean Slate Part 2

So, now I have almost done it. Couldn't be arsed to go all the way through, it just took too damn long time so I started som new orders and now I am up to 8.5mil in buy and 1.7mil in sell.

Life is good. Hopefully the profit will be exponentially better as well

A clean slate

Is that how you call it? A clean slate? When you erase your past and go forward with your back clear of any unexpected bad stuff?
Anyway, I liquidated most of my assets so that I could have a "fresh" start and really see how much I make/lose on the deals that I close. I believe I've made about 2,5mil, but I'm really not sure. That is why I have done this.

Some good new and some bad news

Heyo, my none-existent reader!

Some news about the situation.

Good news: It didn't take CCCP several days extra to patch up to Tyrannis. Only a couple of hours extra
Bad news: Watched the news about the server and thought "Naaah,,, it will take some time, so I got time to play some Empire: Total war" which i did for 2 hours. Then I come back to see if the server is up and guess what? It's been up for 1 hour and 40min.

More bad news: It seems like the patch ate some of my orders. Not much, maybe just 60k in ISK, but still... some orders were lost
More good news: The orders I had left really sparked off. Now I'm sitting at 2,8mil in sell and 2,3mil in buy. Compared to yesterday where I had 2mil sell and 1mil buy and some items to be thrown out on the market (around maybe 200k)
The income is growing. The Cap likes!

Things seems to be going great! Important word: seems.
Started off with 2 mil in total liquid and assets, now orders are running at about 2mil sell, 1 mil buy and some items waiting to get thrown out on the markets again.

Servers are down and applying the patch. Hope it comes up today/tonight. Feels like I'm becoming a market junkie.

Just have to add: Have read up on the forums and watched some "rags to riches"-stories. While I really don't believe most of them, some just seem so real and I really don't get how people can get rich so fast while trading in just one place.. Beats me.
Oh, well... Guess they are just so much more handsome than me

Or I just expect miracles right away. Time will tell.

The Hub

Great! Now I'm a bit settled in. Got some buy and sell orders up and running.. Money comes trickling in and new items get bought up. Just gotta find out what kind of items is needed and what I should avoid. This might take some time.

Lessons learned

So, first day was spent gathering all my assets that was spread widely around the region.
Lesson 1. DON'T initiate buy orders that have a range of 10 jump. It will be scattered too far and take far too long to gather for it to be worthwile (unless you work with VERY expensive items)

Lesson 2. Don't make too big orders. As in, my order for 100k units of EMP S. Was up forabout 2 days and netted me about 71k units (spread over the region in mainly 100 stacks... Yay)
They are now on sale for a pretty good price, I'd say.

Next thing I did was pack up my things and head over to a more populated area to try my luck/skill at a missioning hub.
Will get started tomorrow with some buy orders. Hope it will work out good. Worst case scenario I lose a couple of mil.

Started

Started trading yesterday on my 3day old character while I skill up the Trade skills.

Invested 800k in 100k rounds of EMP S and about 310k in 38k units of Scordite. Found some good selling ground and will do roughly 700k profit after this batch has been sold. Just started dabbling in the craft of trading. Will have to look more into what is needed in the EvE-universe and send some more ISK to this guy. Got a good feeling about this character.
